System Requirements
- What are the minimum recommended system Requirements for SmartSale ERP?
- Windows PC: 1 GHz computer with 4GB of RAM running Windows 7 or latest
- Apple Mac: Intel-based Mac running OS X 10.5 or later
- High-speed internet connection (DSL, cable, T1) for businesses that require remote branch monitoring and warehousing
Note: SmartSale ERP is currently not supported on Linux, including Ubuntu and Fedora

- How can l get a SmartSale ERP License?
You can download a trial version of the SmartSale license from http://smartsaleerp.com/download-windows which is valid for 30days but fter the 30 day trial period, you’ll only have limted use of the software until you purchase a substantive license that will restore full functionality of the software.
- Does a SmartSale ERP license I have purchased expire?
There is an expiry date on all trial and subscription based versions of SmartSale ERP(i.e. quarterly and half yearly subscriptions), however, perpetual user licenses do not expire.
- How many computers can I install SmartSale ERP on when I purchase a license?
You can install SmartSale ERP on as many computers as possible provided you have purchased licenses for them.

- What Other Hardware can I use with SmartSale ERP?
SmartSale ERP supports USB barcode scanners as well as USB receipt and desktop printers. Bluetooth version of these devices are also supported by SmartSale ERP. SmartSale is also compatible with Barcode Printers.

- Can I upgrade my SmartSale Version to a higher version?
You can upgrade the SmartSale ERP to higher version, but you’ll be required to pay for an upgrade fee which will enable you validate the newer version of SmartSale.
- Can SmartSale ERP be customized to meet my business operations?
Our Research and Development team is open for discussions on customizing SmartSale ERP for your business operations.
- Do I have to pay for customization of my version of SmartSale ERP?
Payment on customization are only made on features you may request that are not part of the existing functionalities of SmartSale ERP. You must however have an active support and maintenance contract with SmartSale ERP to enjoy any free updates, upgrades or customization.
- Are there free updates on SmartSale ERP?
Free updates are only provided on existing features of SmartSale for clients who have an active support and maintenance contract with SmartSale ERP.
- Can I update my SmartSale ERP from the website?
You can download and install the latest version of SmartSale ERP from our website as long as your license to use it is still active.

Downloads, Installation & Use of SmartSale ERP
- Can SmartSale ERP be installed on my Mac PC?
At the moment NO, but we intend to make it possible to be installed on Mac PCs in the near future.
- Downloading the SmartSale ERP Installation Setup failed, what do I do?
Use a wired connection. For an optimal download experience, connect your computer directly to your modem or router via a network cable while downloading. This will reduce the chances of latency, which often leads to corrupt file transfers. Temporarily deactivate your security programs. Active firewalls, antivirus, or antispyware programs can cause interference during downloads. Deactivating these programs will help you successfully download your software.
- Can I use SmartSale in another country aside Ghana?
SmartSale ERP can be used in other countries aside Ghana.
