How to Install SmartSale ERP

Pre-installation Requirements

The following prerequisites and requirements must be satisfied in order to install successfully.

• Microsoft C++ Redistributable
• MySQL Server and Workbench

1. Install Microsoft C++ redistributable drivers. Click on this link to download a folder that has all the required drivers.
2. Install MySQL server and workbench. Below is a link on how to download and install it

  3. Installing SmartSale

Download the latest version of SmartSale from the product website.

• • Double-click on the SmartSale setup
  • Click Next
  • Click Next
  • Click Next
  • Choose Yes
  • Click on Close

4. Connecting SmartSale to Database

• • Double-click to open SmartSale from the desktop
  • Click on tools and then settings
  • Add a database name eg “my_business_name”
  • Enter the username and password. N.B username is “root” and password is the workbench password from the MySQL installation
  • Click on Save
  • Restart SmartSale

 5. Adding a license

• • Enter a Valid license name and license key and then click on “OK”
